Ping Pong Qiu Or as the Western World calls it- Table Tennis is The National game of China. The Table Tennis Community in China Continues to Produce Many World-Class Players. Table tennis is the biggest sport in China With an Estimated 300 million players. It Plays An important role in China’s international relations.

Chinese Ping Pong players have won 60% of the men’s World Championships since 1959.  Almost all of the women’s World Championships since 1971 also have won. Ping Pong sports play an important role in China’s history. In 1972, the US table tennis team was invited to visit China and play with the Chinese team, which became the well-known “Ping Pong Diplomacy.”

Running is another most popular and most important sport for Chinese people. 44 percent of sports-playing Chinese count running among their main activities. The explosive popularity of long-distance running in China can be seen in the marathon events registered each year. This number has grown 50 times in the past few years, from only 22 events in 2011 to 1102 events last year.
