What Is The National Animal of France?

The Gallic Rooster is France’s Unofficial National animal. The Rooster appears on the jerseys of the French national soccer team and on their Olympic team’s jerseys.

The animal itself was found in every farm. Since almost all French people were rural, it was instantly recognizable by all. The fact that the rooster is, like the French themselves, a rather elegant, flamboyant and mercurial animal is only the cherry on top.
