The Artemisia tridentata or Sagebrush is the state flower of Nevada. Its scientific name is Artemisia tridentate or Artemisia trifida. It belongs to the wormwood family Asteraceae. Artemisia is the genus of the Sagebrush and its species is A. tridentata. The Nevada’s state flower Artemisia tridentata is commonly known as Sagebrush, Big Sagebrush, Common Sagebrush, Blue Sagebrush, or Black Sagebrush. The Artemisia tridentata or Sagebrush is a strong pungent fragrance, woody shrub, or small tree those are native to California north to Canada and south east of United States of America.
