With a 2023 population of 212,089, it is the 21st-largest city in California and the 117th-largest city in the United States.  It is bordered by the cities of Rialto to the north, San Bernardino to the northeast, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario to the east, and Jurupa Valley and Riverside County to the south.
