National Flag Of Tajikistan

The National Flag Of Tajikistan was officially adopted On 24 November 1992, replacing the flag of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic. The flag is made of three horizontal stripes of red, white, and green with the golden outline of a crown beneath seven stars in the center of the field. Tajikistan was a Soviet Socialist Republic called Tajik ASSR.

The Flag Of Tajikistan flown was a red field with a hammer and sickle coat of arms in the top left corner. In 1929 the emblem of the flag was replaced with Latin and Cyrillic sans serif characters. The Tajikistan National Flag has changed again in 1953. It features white and green horizontal bands through the center and a golden hammer and sickle with a gold-bordered red five-pointed star in the upper left corner.

During independence from the Soviet Empire in 1991, Tajikistan used the previous Tajik SSR flag. In 1992 the colors of the National Flag Of Tajikistan remained the same but the design became a red-white-green horizontal tricolor with a gold crown and seven gold stars at the center.
