National Zoo of Qatar | Symbols of Qatar

The National Zoo of Qatar is located In Doha. The Zoo Zoo represented a miniature animal kingdom and offered a great opportunity to see some of the more traditional zoo animals and the region’s desert creatures. The Doha Zoo is home to more than 1,500 mammals, birds, and reptiles from around the world. Although considered a small zoo, the Doha Zoo features animals, like elephants, giraffes, baboons, and zebras.

All children and adults find the zoo very fascinating as it has a playing area along with a cafeteria and food that you can feed the animals. This covers an area of 4.2 hectares. The kids can also get the chance to see the oryx, which is Qatar’s national animal. There are also animal shows, i.e. elephant shows, which will surely make the kids appreciate the zoo creatures even more.

You can visit the Doha Zoo daily from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoons, however, are dedicated for women and children only. This zoo has all types of animals and visiting this zoo is one of the best ways to spend your time with your family.
