The Current National anthem of Iran was adopted in the year 1990, replacing the previous national anthem that was used during Ayatollah Khomeini’s reign.
The Anthem was composed by Hassan Riyahi, with words written by Aidan Maroni.

Bahman is the zenith of our faith.
Your message, O Imam, independence, and freedom, the purpose of our lives, is imprinted on our souls
O, Martyrs! Your cries echo in the ears of time:
