The Current Coat of Arms of Argentina was used form 1944. It started in the seal of the General Constituent Assembly of 1813.

At the top of the Argentinian Coat of Arms is the golden Sun of May, Signifying Argentina as a new and glorious nation rising to the surface of the earth. It Is also found on the flag of Argentina.

In the center of the Coat of Arms, There are two shaking hands. This is for the unity of the Provinces of Argentina.
