Hibiscus is the unofficial national flower of Vanuatu. Hibiscus brackenridgei is the scientific name of Hibiscus. It comes from malvaecae/mallow family. It is very much favorite to the Vanuatu’s people for its outstanding beauty and color image. It is also populous for great hibiscus tea and dry flower. It found on bulk amount all over the Vanuatu. Hibiscus is the native to Asian tropical region. It has also religious history. According to the Hindu mythology the red hibiscus is the flower of Goddess Kaali and appears commonly in depictions of her in the art of India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. It also used as offering flower (Anjali call in Bengali language) to the Goddess Kaali and Lord Ganesha in Hindu worship. Hibiscus is the symbol of Life, courage and rapid growth of the nation.
