Denmark’s official language is Danish which is also known as Dansk. English is the predominant second language of Denmark.
Faroese, Greenlandic, and German languages are minority languages that are also spoken in Denmark. Danish is also spoken by minor populations in other parts of the world like Canada, US, Spain, Argentina, and Brazil. 15% to 20% of Greenland’s population also speak the language.
