The horse is the state animal of New Jersey. Equus caballus is the scientific name of the horse. The New Jersey’s state animal Horse is found in more or less every country in the world. According to Oklahoma State University, it came to know that the Abyssinian is found in Ethiopia, the Budyonny comes from Russia, Deliboz is from Georgia and Armenia, the Egyptian came from Egypt and the Colorado Rangerbred comes from the Colorado plains. Governor Brendan T. Byrne signed the law for adopting horse as the state animal of New Jersey on August 14, 1977 when attending the farm and horse show at Augusta, Sussex County.
