On US Route 60, the Blue Grass Airport is located on the western edge of Lexington. Four airlines offer passenger flights there: Allegiant, American, Delta, and United. Additionally, Lexington has easy access to Interstates 64 and 75. Passenger trains operated by the Southern Railway on a Cincinnati-Florida route passed through Lexington station well into the 1960s.
