The krone (plural: kroner; sign: kr.; code: DKK) is the official currency of Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Island. In Denmark, people use Danish Krones. 1 U.S. Dollar equals 6.52 Krones, but it changes a lot.

It comes in coins of the half, one, two, five, ten, and twenty Danish Krones. It also comes in bills of 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 Krones. The Danish krone remains fixed to the euro in terms of currency exchange.
