What is The Economic Condition of Lebanon?

Lebanon has a free market economy, and the government allows foreign investment but they are struggling with corruption, high taxes, fees, and other problems. Lebanese economy is service oriented which means that Lebanon publishes their capabilities or abilities.

1975-1990 civil war damaged Lebanon’s economy very much. They made less than half of what they used to and exports dropped extensively.

They rebuilt their economy by borrowing from domestic banks which made a huge debt for Lebanon. They got a $1.2 billion funding for the rebuilding of the badly treated electricity sector, but can’t invest that money into different sectors.
