Hibiscus is the unofficialnational flowerof Haiti. Hibiscus rosa- sinensis is the scientific name of Hibiscus and in Haitian language it is called rose Cayenne. It also known as China rose. Rosa-sinensis means rose of china but it is not related to rose or rosaceae family. It comes from malvaecae/mallow family. It is also called rose mallow in some part of Haiti.

It is very colorful flower with large soft petals. It is found in bulk amount all over the Haiti. Hibiscus isnative to Asian tropical region.
