National poet of Bangladesh

Kazi Nazrul Islam is the national poet of Bangladesh. He is especially recognized as a Rebel poet around the country. Nazrul is a famous poet, musician, and philosopher of Bangladesh And His nationalist activism earned him the popular title of Rebel Poet.

Nazrul is officially declared as a national poet of Bangladesh and highly respected in India. He also composed the Bangladesh military march song “The Song of Youth”.
