In relative location, Ottawa in the southeast of both Canada and Ontario. It is west of north New York. The population of Ottawa is 883,391 (2011). and the area of 1,073 sq miles (2,779 km²). Ottawa has warm, humid summer and a very cold winter.Ottawa also has may famous rivers like the St. Lawrence River
