Political Border of Canada
The Canada–United States border is the longest international border in the world between two countries. The Political Border of Canada and the US stretches for 5,525 miles (8,891 km) from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean to the west. It cuts across lakes, forests, glaciers, and towns. Eight Canadian provinces share the boundary with thirteen American states. A six feet “no-touching zone” is maintained along the borderline unless in unavoidable circumstances.
